Covenant World Relief which is the humanitarian aid branch of the Evangelical Covenant Church.  At Redeemer Covenant Church, we have a program called Penny Manna.   Penny Manna is our church’s year round response to Covenant World Relief.  The money collected is used to fund local relief efforts, Covenant World Relief relief efforts and to support missionaries in the field.  Penny Manna is our effort to collect abandoned coins found on the street, in cars, in homes and offices.

Seven cents will provide one meal for a child in a refugee camp.  Fifteen cents will buy a vitamin packet for an aides infected mother in Africa.  We have collected over $2000 in coins.   The coins have “In God We Trust” on the face.  Somebody in the world is trusting God to provide for their desparate need.  God is trusting us to pick up pennies and put them in the Penny Manna jar.  What the world considers worthless and will not pickup, we collect so that God can take it and magnify it for His Glory.
