Mark Mohrweis
A native of Seattle, Washington, Mark grew up in The Evangelical Covenant Church (ECC) at First Covenant Church. He is a proud graduate of the University of Washington and North Park Seminary (the ECC’s seminary). He did his internship at Trinity ECC on the south side of Chicago.
Pastor Mark has a heart for the Bible, evangelism, and racial reconciliation. Things that are exciting to him are: helping others develop spiritual gifts and dreaming up creative ideas for ministry. He brings a sense of humor to pulpit and to most of what he does.
Mark is married to the love of his life, Jessica, a kindergarten teacher from nearby Garland, Texas. On his off time, you may find Mark training for a marathon, reading at a coffee shop, watching Mad Men, or vacationing in Seattle.

Haley Kroboth
Haley was born and raised in Dallas and grew up in the United Methodist Church. She has served in youth ministry in the Evangelical Free Church and Independent Christian Church denominations, as well as Director of Christian Education the Presbyterian Church (USA). She has also been a whitewater rafting guide in Colorado and taught/coached high schoolers in DeSoto, TX. She graduated from Baylor University (where she studied religion, literature, and philosophy) and from Brite Divinity School at TCU, where she got her Masters in Theological Studies. She is currently working on her PhD at SMU in religion and culture and living in Plano with her husband and son.
Haley has a heart for mobilizing young people to be Christ's Hands and Feet, meeting the needs of others across the world, and for communicating the Lord's liberating grace through relationship and service. She is excited about forming deep relationships, experiencing creation, and seeing others becoming passionate about the Lord's work. To her work with our youth she brings a desire to learn, a love for people, and a flair for goofiness and creativity.
Some of her non-church activities are: just about every sport (including soccer and competitive running), outdoor adventure (including rock climbing and white water kayaking), reading, and turning anything into a competition.

Cassie Watson
The oldest of four sisters, Cassie grew up in the Baptist Church in Harleton, Texas. Outside of church activities, she is an actress. Though she has a background in theatre from the University of North Texas, she has transitioned into film.
Cassie has a passion for singing, as well as for acting, and she loves to push herself to be the best at whatever she does. Her desire is to do all that she can with the gifts that God has given her. She brings this passion to her leadership of the praise team at Redeemer as she strives to bring glory to God through worshiping Him with music.
She also enjoys rock climbing and watching Sponge Bob SquarePants.

Lori Vriend
Lori was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and raised in the Christian Reformed Church there. She spent 13 years in California where she got a master’s degree in teaching from California State University, LA and taught in Christian schools. She now lives with her husband and two teenaged children in Lewisville.
A heart for people and a firm belief that God works through prayer have shaped her ministry at Redeemer. She loves promoting good communication, publishing the newsletter, and learning new things.
At home she enjoys bird watching, going to coffee with her husband, and outdoor activities like hiking and camping. She has been an active leader of a prayer group with Moms in Touch, International for 14 years.
