Praise and Worship
Praise & Worship PDF Print E-mail

We hope you can join us on Sunday mornings at 10:45 for our worship service.  We believe that the Holy Spirit is present anytime believers come together--in small groups, prayer meetings, even two friends in conversation.

We also believe that there is something special that happens when our entire church body gathers to praise God, listen to His word, and celebrate the sacraments.  Here is what to expect if you are visiting Redeemer for the first time.

What You Can Expect PDF Print E-mail

- Being welcomed by a smiling face and informed about Redeemer and our ministries.

- Singing that reflects a variety of musical interests--contemporary praise songs, hymns and liturgical songs, and gospel music.

- Hearing God’s word through Scripture readings and through the sermon.

- Taking the time to talk to God through prayer

- You can also expect special Sundays where we celebrate communion (1st Sunday of the month) and healing prayer (4th Sunday of the month)

What You Don't Need to Worry About PDF Print E-mail

- Being called upon to stand up and/or otherwise speak in front of everyone.

- Feeling out of place because of your clothing, piercings, or tattoos.  (Some at Redeemer dress up, some come in shorts and a t-shirt.  We love them all!)

- Facing a ‘sales pitch’ and immediate pressure to join the church

SUNDAY SCHOOL

Please join us at 9:30 on Sunday mornings to learn more about God, the Bible, and what it means to be a Christian!

We have Sunday school classes for all ages:

--Nursery for infants & toddlers

--Preschoolers

--Elementary students

--Middle schoolers

--High schoolers

--Young adults

--Adults of all ages

A new adult class on Prayer is now meeting in the library.

Another new study approach we are trying is a church-wide/cross-generational/family-centered study, with the elementary classes and an adult class studying the same topics and Scripture passages.  The adult class meets in the Fellowship Hall.

For more detailed information, click on the "Classes" link on the left side of our home page.
