Dr. Tim Johnson is the Director of Field Education at North Park Seminary. He has served in the Covenant in many ways, including ministering to congregations in Connecticut, Illinois and Minnesota for 25 years. His wife Kari B. Lindholm-Johnson is also an ordained Covenant Pastor. They have two children. His hometown is Yakima, WA —from which he gets a nickname “Yak.” His college and seminary degrees are both from North Park, and his Doctor of Ministry degree is from Hartford Seminary. Dr. Johnson suggested Paul Couleur to be our summer youth intern. Thank you, Dr. Johnson! He has also done these things at the denomination: President of the Covenant Ministerium and member of the Board of Ministry, The Board of Benevolence, and the Commission on Christian Action.
